Native Red-Tailed Cockatoo and Flora

"The red-tailed black cockatoo (Karak)."

This residential mural is not only a beautiful artistic addition to the outdoor entertainment area, but it also brings awareness to an important subject. Unfortunately, there is a major decline in the number of red-tailed black cockatoos due to their loss of habitat. Their woodland homes and food source are being cleared for roads, buildings and agriculture.

Spread the word and spread the knowledge about the need to protect these majestic birds, along with all of Australia’s wildlife.

Hi, my name is Aisha pronounced Aye-sha and I have been passionate about all things art and creativity since I could hold a pencil. I started painting professionally and selling my art in high school. From there, I ran my art business casually on the side of all of my endeavours, including an arts degree and a health degree. After my health degree, I worked as a social worker and combined my skills in art and therapy to deliver mental health wellbeing counselling and workshops. In 2022 and after many years of working in the mental health field, I decided to go full-time with my art business. I predominately paint bright and colourful large-scale paintings and murals and occasionally facilitate art workshops. I am extremely passionate about the power of art as a source of therapy. Whether you are involved in the artistic process or get the pleasure of witnessing the magic.
