The aim of this mural was to bring some colour and life to a long-neglected area within the Billabong Backpacker's complex whilst showcasing some native Australian flora and fauna for their international guests to enjoy!

I studied Set & Costume Design at WAAPA, and scenic painting was my first foray into large-scale painting. My artistic career has taken me on a varied and wonderful journey, from working as a technical drawer for an interior design company to scenic design to running my own face painting business.
