Nicola & Kat

Nicola and Kat work as an artist team providing fine art services to government bodies, schools, small businesses and individuals. They own The Artists Nook, an art gallery in Guildford and have been building their public art portfolio while working independently on their own art practices. Their recent public art projects have included large-scale mural paintings and the inclusion of sculptural elements. Kat's abstract work and Nicola's focus on local flora and fauna work beautifully together through their expertise in colour and highly developed painting skills from decades of working as visual artists. Recent public art projects have involved working with local community groups and residencies in schools which allow the artists to develop ideas and imagery which resonate with the people who live in and around the suburbs where the artworks are located.
