Eden Hill CAN

Artist team Nicola Cowie and Kat Ferguson 2022 Eden Hill exterior wall mural. Funded by the Town of Bassendean, Eden Hill CAN and Greening Australia 10x2.5metres

The client's brief was to create a vibrant and engaging artwork for the local community that reflected the flora and fauna of the adjoining park.

Eden Hill CAN is a community group working to improve the local area through regenerating green spaces and planting to attract native fauna.

This mural project brightens up a blank wall with artwork that celebrates the native flora and fauna of the area. The sacred kingfisher was chosen to be the focal point of the artwork with the addition of an abstract view of the park's water source where frogs and dragonflies thrive. Flowering gums and wattle flowers adorn the sides and edges of the wall.
